Job DescriptionProvide guidance and leadership toward achieving the division's strategic goals and objectives.Assist in establishing the strategic direction of the component to ensure alignment with business plans.Align individual performance to strategic business objectives outlined in the component's balance scorecard.Formulate, implement, and report on all strategic frameworks within the area of responsibility.Consolidate and manage all strategic and operational reports effectively.Oversee the development and implementation of relevant policies, directives, acts, and regulations.Provide leadership and high-level coordination of workflow in the Office of the Commissioner.Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and workflow procedures.Foster and maintain effective relations within the department and with relevant stakeholders.Manage human resources, finance, assets, and performance information within the component.
Job RequirementsAn undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in Social Science or equivalent.Five years' experience at a middle or senior managerial level in a similar environment.A certificate for entry into the Senior Management Services (SMS) obtained from the National School of Government (NSG) is compulsory and must be submitted before appointmentputer literate.Valid driver's licence.Required Knowledge : Understanding of the Justice Cluster dynamics.Knowledge of public service policy and legislative frameworks, including : Public Service Act and RegulationsPublic Finance Management Act (PFMA)Correctional Service Act of
