Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Digital Workplace Technical Specialist for a contract position in Johannesburg. The role involves ensuring the latest Productivo client is deployed across designated employee devices and coordinating upgrades with global teams for Africa.

You will track version duplication, manage data capture lists, and resolve issues related to the Productivo application. You will also create Power BI reports and participate in daily scrums to monitor data quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with scripting to read and interpret deployment details.
• Experience with Power BI for analysis and reporting tasks.
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Ability to troubleshoot by engaging end users and understanding device-level issues.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the latest version of Productivo is installed on identified employees' machines.
• Coordinate with Productivo and global teams to align upgrade schedules for Africa.
• Track duplicate and old versions of Productivo and reduce related installs.
• Manage employee lists for data capture and communications.
• Investigate and resolve issues with the Productivo application (wrong/duplicate versions).
• Oversee data submissions to BrewDat and monitor data quality metrics.
• Perform spot checks on data quality (hours worked, in/out of office).
• Investigate non-responsive data submissions and document status daily.
• Prototype and test new technologies (e.g. mobile tracking, MS Viva).
• Collaborate with Global COE Team to resolve device-level issues.
• Create and modify Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Participate in daily scrums to discuss progress indicators.
