How you'll role

The Paid Media Manager is responsible for driving new customer acquisition through high-performance paid advertising campaigns. You will manage, optimise, and scale campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and other paid channels relevant to sports betting and online casino. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, hands‑on platform experience, and the ability to manage budgets efficiently to achieve aggressive growth targets.

What you'll do
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
  • Plan, launch, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads
  • Own the full acquisition funnel: audience targeting, creative briefing, testing, optimisation, and reporting
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience segmentation to drive efficient acquisition
  • Create and manage campaign structures that maximise scale and cost‑efficiency
  • Create & manage landing pages and conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rates
Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor daily performance across all channels with a focus on CPI, CPA, ROAS, FTDs (First‑Time Depositors) and other acquisition KPIs
  • Analyse campaign data to uncover trends and optimise for cost‑effective growth
  • Produce clear weekly and monthly acquisition reports for internal stakeholders
Collaboration & Creative Input
  • Work closely with the design and content team to brief and iterate on ad creatives
  • Collaborate with product, CRM, and analytics teams to ensure smooth onboarding and tracking for new users
  • Contribute ideas for testing new channels, formats, and ad types
Budget Management
  • Manage monthly acquisition budgets responsibly and efficiently
  • Forecast spend, performance, and customer acquisition volumes
  • Reallocate budgets across platforms based on real‑time performance insights
Compliance & Quality Control
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with South African gambling advertising regulations
  • Maintain high‑quality ad standards and protect the BetJets brand reputation
What you'll need
  • 2–3 years hands‑on experience managing Paid Media campaigns
  • Strong practical experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and TikTok Ads (certifications are a bonus)
  • Proven experience managing performance-driven campaigns with measurable ROI
  • Solid understanding of conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, pixels, UTM parameters, and attribution
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data platforms (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and budgets simultaneously
  • Experience in e‑commerce, fintech, or sports betting/gaming is an advantage (not required)
  • High attention to detail, data‑driven thinking, and a passion for performance marketing
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, server‑side tracking and advanced attribution models
  • Familiarity with programmatic platforms and affiliate marketing
  • Knowledge of sports betting or online casino customer behaviour
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS and landing page optimization
  • Experience running creative A/B tests across multiple formats
