KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE

The role requires an analytical approach aimed at enhancing performance across our digital properties—both paid social media and brand platforms—through a critical evaluation of past performance to inform future strategies for digitally led campaigns and promotions. The role will work closely with both the digital creative teams and the digital product team and will be accountable for planning, executing, and evaluating digital media campaigns for both internal and client initiatives, as well as assessing the performance of our brand properties.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Campaign Implementation & Execution: Set up, launch, and monitor digital media campaigns across all platforms (social, display, programmatic, audio), ensuring accurate tracking, targeting, and delivery.
  • Platform & Campaign Analytics: Generate platform performance reports using tools such as Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, and Looker Studio.
  • Social Media Analytics & Optimization: Analyse and optimize both internal and client campaigns across all major social media platforms.
  • Campaign Strategy & Proposal Development: Develop strategic proposals that integrate Primedia platforms and meet client KPIs.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Deliver regular post-campaign and monthly reports with actionable insights.
  • Internal Team Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product, and creative teams to ensure alignment and integration of digital solutions.
  • System Maintenance & Platform Updates: Maintain tagging, tracking, inventory forecasting, and contribute to platform rate card updates.
Minimum required qualification
  • Matric
  • Degree or Diploma in Marketing / Communications / Similar or relevant work experience
  • Computer Literacy e.g. Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
Qualifications considered advantageous
  • Digital Marketing Certificate

  • Strong discernment in evaluating which digital innovations is relevant and appropriate for Primedia Broadcasting and its clients, ensuring strategic alignment and value delivery.
  • The capability to translate business deliverables into clear, functional requirements that guide creative development and campaign execution.
