Duties and Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels. Create engaging visual and written content that reflects our brands, plan and schedule posts, and manage community engagement by responding to comments and messages. Track performance, analyse results, and stay on top of trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Conduct keyword research and optimise product pages, web content, and blog posts to improve organic visibility. Refine site structure, metadata, and loading speed, while monitoring performance through Google Analytics and Search Console. Support link-building initiatives to grow domain authority.
- Product Photography
- Capture and edit high-quality product images for our website, catalogues, and campaigns, maintaining a consistent brand look and feel. Keep an organised image library for easy access across departments
- Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design eye-catching visuals for social media, the website, and marketing campaigns, ensuring all creative work follows our brand style. Bring fresh, practical ideas to support marketing initiatives and online promotions.
- E-Commerce
- Upload and update products on our Online Shop, ensuring listings are accurate, SEO-friendly, and visually appealing. Responsible for increasing Online traffic via promotions, best-sellers, and seasonal items. Design, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and retain.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Compile monthly reports on SEO, social media, and online sales, using insights to fine-tune strategies and boost engagement and conversions.
- Client Engagement
- We are not your typical wine ry and this is not your typical marketing position. We believe the future of wine marketing lies in innovation and you will be responsible to spearhead our efforts in this regard. There will be new frontiers to cross and also some old paths to tread like direct engagements with clients and sending out regular newsletters making it an exciting opportunity to blend tradition with technology.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field. (Essential);
- Experience in digital marketing, with hands-on experience managing campaigns and budgets;
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite;
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc.);
- Social Media Management Tools;
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic HTML coding and web development tools,
- Knowledge of wine or the wine industry will be beneficial
