A dynamic digital marketing agency in South Africa is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to enhance online presence and implement marketing strategies. Responsibilities include content creation, social media management, campaign support, and analytics reporting. The Digital Marketing Associate will assist in developing and implementing digital marketing and social media strategies to increase online presence and improve marketing as well as ales efforts.
Assist in creating and curating engaging content across social media platforms, including copy writing, images, and videos. Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely publication of posts. Work with designers and copywriters to produce high‑quality content.
Help develop and implement social media strategies to align with business goals. Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness.
Monitor social media channels and respond to user comments, messages, and inquiries promptly. Engage with followers, encourage community interactions, and foster positive relationships with users. Identify and engage with key influencers and brand advocates.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns. Track and report on campaign performance metrics and provide insights for optimisation. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
Monitor social media metrics and provide regular reports on performance and engagement. Use social media analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve social media strategies.
Monitor and report on social media trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for content creation and engagement based on current trends. Ensure brand consistency in messaging and tone across all social media platforms.
Maintain organised records of social media activities and campaigns. Assist with administrative tasks related to social media management, such as scheduling posts and organising assets. Support the Social Media Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and projects.
