Role Overview

Location: Trainers are required to deliver virtual workshops in Johannesburg or Pretoria, South Africa.

Schedule: The training program spans 5 consecutive days, with sessions delivered during standard business hours.

Specific days will be confirmed upon contract signing.

Preparation: Trainers must dedicate time before the bootcamp to review and align with the provided materials, attend Train-the-Trainer sessions, and familiarize themselves with the curriculum.

Travel: Travel is not required as all the training will be delivered virtually.

Materials: All training materials and resources will be provided by the program team. Trainers must bring their own laptops and tools for session delivery.

Main duties

Deliver Training:

  • Optimising business strategies and competitive advantages.
  • Mastering App Store Optimization (ASO).
  • Creating and managing advanced Google App Campaigns.
  • Maximising SERP visibility for paid results.
  • Analysing and refining campaign performance.

Effective Instruction:

  • Incorporate hands‑on activities and case studies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Adapt delivery methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Use tools such as Google Play Console, Google Ads, and Google Analytics platforms to demonstrate practical applications.

Collaboration: Work closely with the program team to ensure content aligns with objectives and reflects participant feedback. Attend regular briefings to discuss curriculum updates and session adjustments.

Progress Tracking: Provide detailed post‑session feedback, highlighting participant engagement, progress, and areas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, App Development, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering training in digital marketing and app development.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Play Console, Firebase, or similar.
  • Experience developing and optimising app marketing campaigns.

Desired:

  • Advanced degrees like an MBA in Digital Marketing or MSc in Digital Business.
  • App‑Specific Certifications: e.g. App Store Optimization Specialist Certification (offered by ASO‑focused providers such as Mobile Action or The ASO Project).
  • Mentorship and Adult Learning: Certifications in Instructional Design or Adult Learning (e.g., Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) or Association for Talent Development (ATD)).
  • Emerging Market Experience: Certifications or training in Growth Marketing for Emerging Markets (offered by entities like Google or LinkedIn Learning).
