Job summary

Standard Bank of South Africa Limited is seeking a senior digital forensics specialist to lead forensic investigations across the group, ensuring adherence to the Digital Forensic Investigation Framework and standards to minimise operational losses and reputational damage.

The role requires a relevant degree and extensive certifications, with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in digital forensics and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital forensics or a related field as a minimum requirement.
• A suite of preferred security certifications (GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GCTI, EnCE, CFCE, CCE, CHFI, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security Certifications, AWS Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
• 5–7 years' experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Investigations, or related discipline.
• Experience preparing evidential reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders, regulators, and legal representatives.

Job description

To respond to incidents and conduct in-depth digital forensic investigations across the Standard Bank Group, in adherence to the Group Digital Forensic Investigation Framework and standards to ensure digitally related crime is effectively identified and minimised therefore mitigating the potential for operational losses or reputational damage to the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field.
