Placements24 is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to join our Vereeniging team. You will manage social media, web content, and email campaigns to boost brand visibility in Gauteng.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in digital marketing, proficiency with Hootsuite/Buffer, SEO and CMS knowledge, and strong writing skills. The role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic Gauteng-based team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing or communications.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer).
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and CMS.
• Excellent writing, editing and communication for digital platforms.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
• Create, curate, publish engaging content across digital platforms.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage customers.
• Monitor website analytics and social media engagement metrics; provide reports.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on digital campaign planning and execution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices.
