What will you do?

1. Offer Strategy & Localization

  • Adapt global Digital Buildings offers to local market needs, regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Define value propositions and messaging tailored to English Speaking African industries (e.g., cloud & service providers, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, commercial buildings).
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.

2. Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead the launch of new offers and solutions in the region.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans, campaigns, and promotions in collaboration with the regional marketing team.
  • Ensure offer readiness, including pricing (List price optimization, Standard Discount definition by Partner Category and SPA management), documentation, and training.
  • Manage and control supply side through stock control on market related product references.

3. Sales Enablement

  • Create sales tools, presentations, and training content to support the sales force.
  • Conduct workshops and webinars to educate internal teams and partners on Digital Buildings offers.
  • Track and analyze offer performance and pipeline contribution.

4. Customer & Market Engagement

  • Gather customer feedback to influence offer evolution and innovation based on a clear Business case.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in regional and global forums.
  • Support key customer engagements and events.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with global offer managers, Zone Offer Managers, regional segment leaders, and local sales teams.
  • Align with regulatory, pricing, and supply chain teams to ensure offer compliance and availability.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

  • Extensive knowledge of Digital Buildings solutions (e.g., EcoStruxure Buildings, BMS, GRMS).
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
  • Excels being customer facing.
  • Experience in building strategic, tactical, and operational plans (in a corp function or in a Country) is a plus.
  • Excellent in MS Office applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to internal and external audiences, with the ability to communicate with C-level customers.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of data monetization, digitization, and its business applications.
  • Excellent analytic skills, self-starter, quick learner, and interpersonal skills

  • MEA Digital Energy Director and ESA Digital Energy Director

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent. - 5+ years of experience in offer/product marketing, sales or solutions, preferably in energy management, automation, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the English Speaking African market landscape and customer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English language.
