About the Role

Hunterlodge Advertising is looking for a Digital Designer who combines creative flair with technical skill and a genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools to produce campaign assets more efficiently and effectively.

You’ll work across video, social, email, web, and programmatic, creating visually engaging and performance-focused assets for clients in sectors including education, finance, travel, and technology.

This role is perfect for a designer with 2–3 years’ experience who wants to push the boundaries of what’s possible through a blend of design craft, motion, and AI-powered innovation.

Key Responsibilities
AI-Enhanced Design and Production

Use AI tools to support and speed up the design process - from ideation and layout exploration to production and adaptation.

Experiment with generative AI platforms to develop visuals, animations, and video edits.

Apply automation and AI-assisted editing to scale creative outputs efficiently.

Help evolve Hunterlodge’s internal AI workflows, testing and documenting new tools and approaches.

Digital and Motion Design

Design static and animated assets for campaigns across TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and programmatic display platforms.

Edit and produce short‑form video content using AI and non‑AI tools.

Build and animate HTML5 display ads and other responsive digital assets.

Develop email and web visuals aligned with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.

Ensure assets are optimised for performance, accessibility, and device compatibility.

Work closely with designers, copywriters, and media planners to translate creative concepts into finished assets.

Contribute ideas and visual approaches during creative workshops and AI ideation sessions.

Respond constructively to feedback and maintain high design standards under tight deadlines.

Technical and Production Support

Manage project files, templates, and asset libraries efficiently.

Stay up to date with new AI design tools, creative technology, and digital media trends.

Support senior creatives in documenting and sharing best practices across the team.

Skills and Experience

2–3 years of experience in digital design, motion graphics, or creative content production.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

Strong understanding of HTML5 animation and ad development.

Experience using AI or automation tools, ideally including:

Runway / Pika Labs / Sora– for video generation and editing.

Adobe Firefly / Midjourney / Leonardo AI– for image and concept creation.

Canva (including Magic Studio)– for quick‑turn social and video asset creation using AI‑assisted templates and automation.

ChatGPT / Claude / Jasper– for storyboarding, scripting, and idea generation.

Kaiber / Synthesia– for motion and video production.

Framer / Uizard / Figma AI– for digital and web design assistance.

Cursor– for AI‑assisted HTML5 development, animation coding, and creative automation.

Strong visual storytelling and layout design skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience working in Keynote to create visually engaging presentation decks.

Experience with 3D or AR design tools (Blender, Spline, etc.).

Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Airtable, or Figma plugins.

Previous experience in an agency or marketing environment.

Understanding of UX / UI and responsive design principles.
