Senior Account Manager

Are you strong in client relationship management and business development? Do you have experience working for a digital marketing agency, specifically a Google Ads and SEO agency? We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Account Manager to take lead on a portfolio of digital marketing clients from a project management perspective. In addition to this also growing that portfolio by sourcing new clients on a continual basis. Google Advertising experience on the agency side is compulsory.

General Information
  • Negotiable based on experience and / or skill
  • We are based in Pretoria but offer a Remote / Work from Office Hybrid model.

Candidates in and around Pretoria and the Johannesburg area will be considered.

Scope of the role
  • The candidate will work with a range of clients
  • The candidate will learn about : a. Digital Marketing suites – SEO, Google Ads, Google Ads, Other Google Products b. Digital Marketing functions – strategy, data analysis c.
  • Project manage a portfolio of digital marketing clients
  • Develop, execute, and roll out digital marketing strategies for clients
  • Plan and direct client digital marketing campaigns
  • Onboard new client accounts monthly
  • Source new client growth opportunities and own sales leads
  • Achieve sales, up sales, and overall growth targets
  • Engage with clients on a daily basis
  • Deliver client performance reports and provide strategic feedback on campaigns and ensure client performance targets are achieved
  • Serves as the communications link between clients and the production teams
  • The AM will be expected to attend regular sales meetings, account management meetings, and training sessions
Experience & Skills
  • The AM must have at least 2 years of Google product-specific experience within the digital marketing industry
  • A proven track record of growing Google accounts for clients, building long-lasting and fruitful relationships
  • Project management experience essential
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads and YouTube marketing experience is essential
  • Passionate about their client's success
  • Ability to identify opportunities for their clients
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Working within a team environment is extremely important
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team & unsupervised
  • Well organized in their day-to-day tasks with the ability to adapt to change
