Role Overview:
Seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic Red Seal for maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of heavy-duty trucks in our Pretoria West workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Routine servicing and preventative maintenance of trucks and trailers
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repairs
• Engine overhauls, clutch, brake, and suspension repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and manuals
• Accurate completion of job cards and reports
• Vehicle roadworthiness inspections and adherence to safety standards
• Emergency roadside repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean, organised work area

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12) and Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Qualification
• 35 years experience on heavy-duty trucks (Mercedes, MAN, Scania, Volvo, etc.)
• Strong diagnostics, repair, and servicing background
• Code 14 drivers licence and own tools advantageous
• Familiarity with modern diagnostics/software
• Workshop experience
