Overview

This is a part-time on-site role for a Diesel Mechanic located in Secunda. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engine vehicles and equipment. Tasks include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely. Additional tasks may include record-keeping of maintenance activities, advising clients on repairs, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Expertise in diesel engine repair, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Proficiency with mechanical and electronic diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of vehicle systems, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and general mechanical components
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address mechanical issues efficiently
