Diesel Mechanic position available in Middelburg.

We are looking for a qualified and committed Diesel Mechanic to join a reputable UD dealership workshop in Middelburg.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical ability, excellent diagnostic skills, and proven experience working in a franchised truck dealership environment.

Salary: R17 000 – R22 000 + Commission + Medical aid + Pension fund + 13th cheque.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain UD trucks
• Perform services and fault-finding according to OEM specifications
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
• Identify additional repairs and ensure transparent communication
• Assist with roadside breakdowns when required
• Maintain productivity and meet workshop efficiency targets
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and housekeeping policies
• Work collaboratively within the workshop team

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential)
• Master Technician or Auto Electrical certification (advantageous)
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience “on the bench” at a franchised dealership
