Job summary

Vodacom is seeking a skilled DevSecOps leader to drive CHARM-aligned DevSecOps across South Africa. You will implement automated scanning (SAST, SCA, DAST) and manage vulnerability remediation within CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with Secure by Design, security & enterprise architecture teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in cyber security, with strong tooling knowledge and a customer-focused security mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-year Technical Diploma/Degree in Information Security, Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cyber Security role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve DevSecOps Security Chapter and Champions programme.
• Lead standardised CI/CD toolchains and ensure secure tool usage.
• Develop vulnerability dashboards and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with multiple teams including Cyber Security, DevOps and Enterprise Architecture.
