Job summary

Penta Consulting in Johannesburg is seeking a DevSecOps Azure Architect to design secure, scalable Azure solutions and lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to Azure.

You will architect solutions using APIM, App Services, AKS and Service Bus; drive DevSecOps across CI/CD, implement IaC with Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates, and integrate security into build and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available Azure solutions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises and legacy environments to Azure.
• Architect solutions leveraging Azure API Management (APIM), App Services, Functions, AKS, Service Bus, and related Azure services.
• Drive DevSecOps adoption across CI/CD pipelines and engineering teams.
• Integrate security controls into build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• CI/CD security best practices.
• SAST and DAST tool integration.
