Cruze Control Technologies is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to build tools that reduce errors and improve developer and customer experience. You will design and implement automation, monitoring, and scalable cloud-native solutions to boost reliability and uptime.

In this role you will collaborate with software developers, QA, and IT operations to automate deployment, manage infrastructure patches, and optimize release processes while maintaining security and compliance across environments.

Formación

• 5+ years experience in DevOps Engineering or similar role.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture and automation.
• Experience with IT service management and ITIL processes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and incident management.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting ability.
• Experience integrating security practices into DevOps workflows.

DevOps Engineer Opportunity

The DevOps Engineer will build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve Developer and customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Duties:

• Develop scripts/monitoring to analyse and visualise important metrics about reliability and availability.
• Support operational excellence goals through strong operations knowledge. Resolve escalated support topics as part of tier-3 DevOps role to ensure the highest availability of critical applications.
• Plan and execute upgrade of existing applications, tools, and features.
• Create solutions and solve problems using a cloud-native toolchain, to ensure world-class uptime and business agility.
• Automate the management of infrastructure patches and maintenance.
• Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Work with QA Engineers to build disposable test environments and automated testing.
• Work with QA Engineers to ensure that systems are safe and secure against Cybersecurity threats.
• Work with Software Developers and Software Engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
• Improve integration of code between teams.
• Provide middleware support and configuration management for application dependent software such as Webservers, Java, Docker.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 5 years experience in DevOps Engineering with at least 10 years in the IT Industry.
• 5 years experience in Infrastructure: Ansible/Chef, Kubernetes, Terraform, FINOPS.
• 5 years experience in IAM: LDAP, Federated identities, Roles & Access Management.
• 5 years experience in Service Management: Incidents Monitoring, manage SLAs, problem management reporting, ITIL.
• 5 years experience in Ops: Azure Cloud, Linux and Shell, Tomcat, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Logstash, Influx DB, Dynatrace, Oracle, Postgres, Management of Keys, Certificates and Secrets.
• 5 years experience in Dev: Java, Spring Framework, Quarkus, unit testing, REST, Swagger, Jira, Confluence, Python.
• 5 years experience in Architecture: Cloud, On-prem, hybrid, data modelling, SW-Architecture.
