Job Title

DevOps Engineer As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our telemedicine platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate processes, streamline deployments, and maintain high availability of our services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and cloud technologies, along with a passion for optimizing and improving the efficiency of development workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable delivery of software updates.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to proactively identify and address performance issues and security vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with the security team to implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable architectures and optimize performance across the platform.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures to minimize downtime and data loss in the event of system failures or security breaches.
  • Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures, and actively participate in knowledge sharing activities to promote best practices and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and services.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL / TLS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and security tools (e.g., Terraform Enterprise, AWS Security Hub).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or regulated industry.
