Job summary

Birchwell Associates is seeking a Solar Electrician to install and commission solar PV, inverter and battery systems across residential projects in Devon. A qualified electrician with renewable-install experience will join a permanent role with a strong pipeline and progression opportunities.

You will install PV, inverters and battery storage, complete safety checks, documentation and handover, while travelling across Devon.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent.
• Current 18th Edition qualification.
• Testing and inspection experience (2391 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission domestic solar PV systems.
• Install inverters, battery-storage equipment, isolators, cabling and associated electrical components.
• Complete consumer-unit upgrades and related electrical work where required.
• Carry out testing, fault finding and remedial work on new and existing systems.
• Complete certification, installation records and handover documentation.
• Maintain strong standards of safety, workmanship and customer communication.

Education
