Job Description
  • Managing key financial transactions, which includes overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the comprehensive processing of general ledger entries.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintain and review accounting records, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and internal controls.
  • Review VAT reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate VAT submissions and payments.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements.
  • Reporting.
  • Month end journals.
  • Process depreciation and ensure proper asset classification and disposal.
  • WIP Recons.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional affiliation (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excel level: Intermediate to Advanced.
