Job summary

Ideal candidates hold a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering, are proficient in SolidWorks, and have knowledge of automotive vehicles. Responsibilities include designing jigs, compiling engineering drawings, and providing technical support.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD package.
• Ability to communicate well on a technical basis.
• Previous machining experience is preferred.

Minimum Requirements

• B-TECH OR SIMILAR DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING
• PROFICIENT IN SOLIDWORKS OR SIMILAR CAD PACKAGE
• PROFICIENT IN MICROSOFT WORD/EXCEL AND OUTLOOK
• KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES AND THEIR CONSTRUCTION
• ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE WELL ON A TECHNICAL BASIS

Advantageous

• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SYSPRO SOFTWARE
• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH BOM’S (BILL OF MATERIALS)
• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH COMPOSITE COMPONENTS
