Role Overview A skilled Salesforce Developer (Senior Associate) is required to design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that enhance system capability, performance, and scalability. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, maintainable code and ensuring effective collaboration within agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Implement automation through Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
- Design and configure custom objects, fields, record types, and permission sets to support business requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Support data modelling, sharing rules, and security configurations to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with administrators, architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and manage code repositories in line with CI/CD best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently while adhering to development standards.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification (preferred)
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Proficient in Salesforce Data Model, Security, and Sharing Rules.
- Practical knowledge of Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and asynchronous operations (Batch, Queueable).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of DevOps processes within Salesforce environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Desired Skill Sets
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Managed/Unmanaged Packages, and Scratch Orgs.
- Knowledge of Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
- Exposure to data migration tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, or Talend.
