Parvana is seeking an experienced software developer to join a team building a cutting-edge blended E-Learning Platform across Africa. You will design, develop, test, and refine software across front-end and back-end stacks, while documenting processes and collaborating with business analysts to translate requirements into robust solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in Bash and Python, mobile app development with Java/Kotlin/Flutter, and backend/API work with Node.js/Express/Django.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficient in Bash shell scripting and Python.
• Mobile app development experience (Java/Kotlin/Flutter).
• Strong backend web development and API development (Node.js/Express/Django).
• Familiar with frontend frameworks (Angular/Vue).
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/SQLite) and NoSQL databases.
• Git version control proficiency and Google APIs.
• Knowledge of CI tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

What you need:

1. Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

4. Skilled in mobile app development (Java/Kotlin/Flutter).
5. Strong in back-end web development (Node.js/Express/Django) and API development.
6. Familiar with front-end frameworks (Angular.js/Vue.js).
7. Experienced with SQL (PostgreSQL/SQLite) and NoSQL databases.
8. Proficient in Git version control and Google APIs.
9. Knowledgeable in CI tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

Advantageous:

1. Proficiency in process design.
2. User experience and user interface design capabilities.
3. Familiarity with MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Experience with Google Suite applications (Forms, Drive, Sheets, Docs).
5. Knowledge of reporting tools such as Qlik Sense and Qlik Nprinting.
6. Proficiency in collaboration tools like Asana, Slack, and Google Chat.
