Desktop Support Technician - REMOTE - NIGHT SHIFT (USA Hours) at Scaled Inc.

This role requires expertise in Microsoft, Desktop Solutions, Cloud-Based Infrastructure, and Virtualization. Please note that this is a night shift position as you will be working USA hours.
Responsibilities
- Microsoft Migration & Deployment – Configure, migrate, and deploy Microsoft applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Experience migrating from on-premise servers to Microsoft is a plus.
- Desktop Solutions Deployment – Assist in software installations for project teams and ensure smooth desktop deployments. Experience with InTune deployments is a plus.
- Windows Server Administration – Configure, deploy, and manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and other core Windows Server infrastructure components.
- Security & Compliance – Implement security best practices to protect IT systems, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and availability.
- IT Project Collaboration – Work closely with the IT team to support systems after deployment, ensuring seamless operation.
- Process Documentation – Maintain detailed documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in desktop support roles with expertise in Office, Azure, desktop support, and server administration.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and Storage.
- Hands‑on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Office applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Proficiency in supporting both Windows and macOS operating systems, including hardware troubleshooting and software installation.
- Solid experience managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent.
- Cisco or HP Advanced Certification.
- Azure Certification (e.g., Azure Administrator).
- VMware Certification.
- Cybersecurity Certifications (SANS, GIAC, etc.).
- Security Infrastructure Certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, VMware).
- Security Management Certifications (Splunk, Arctic Wolf, Tech / Monitoring solutions).

- Computer Equipment – A laptop or desktop capable of handling IT support tasks efficiently.

- Backup Power Solution – A reliable backup power source to maintain connectivity during outages.
