Based in Pretoria East, this role involves managing an IT support function that handles both infrastructure (networks, servers, etc.) and end‑user devices (desktops, laptops, printers) within an organization. Key deliverables include installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software; troubleshooting technical issues; providing user training; and ensuring the smooth operation of the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Support – Hardware: Manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
  • Network Support – Software: Support network operating systems, VPNs, and other network‑related software.
  • Connectivity: Ensure users can access the network and other resources.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network‑related issues such as slow speeds, connectivity problems, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against threats.
  • Desktop Support – Hardware: Support desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Desktop Support – Software: Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications on desktop devices.
  • Operating System Support: Manage and support operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • User Support: Provide assistance to end‑users with their computers and software.
  • Account Management: Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
