Based in Pretoria EastI dont have a job spec, but I think lets use the following as a guideline IT support function that handles both the infrastructure (Networks, servers, etc.) and the end-user devices (desktops, laptops, printers) within an organization.This includes tasks like installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software.Troubleshooting technical issues.Providing user training and ensuring the smooth operation of the IT environment.

Network Support – Hardware

Managing network devices like routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.

Network Support – Software

Supporting network operating systems, VPNs, and other network-related software.

Network Support – Connectivity

Ensuring users can access the network and other resources.

Network Support – Troubleshooting

Diagnosing and resolving network-related issues, such as slow speeds, connectivity problems, and security vulnerabilities.

Network Support – Security

Implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect against threats.

Desktop Support – Hardware

Supporting desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.).
