Designer (Kreator Agency)

Kreator is the in-house creative agency for RGBC. RGBC is a distributor of fine champagne, spirits and whisky in South Africa. We are an independent, lean and adaptable business, employing passionate and talented individuals across South Africa.

The successful incumbent will work in collaboration with the RGBC Commercial and Brand team, as well as with the Brand Principal and Commercial Team for Africa. The incumbent will localise global toolboxes and collateral and work on ad hoc campaigns as briefed by brand managers and the commercial team. Responsibilities
Marketing & Advertising Design
  • Ideation: conceptualise and develop creative ideas, graphics, layouts and campaign concepts.
  • Design: produce marketing collateral across multiple touchpoints, including POSM for on‑trade execution, product visuals, mock‑ups and designs for main market, redistributors, township runners and menu programmes. Support key visual and digital asset resizing and optimisation.
  • Video Editing: edit and produce engaging video content for digital, social and internal brand use; adapt global video assets for local markets and maintain brand consistency across all formats.
  • Presentation & Feedback: present creative concepts and design solutions to internal and external stakeholders, communicate ideas and rationale, incorporate feedback effectively and refine deliverables.
Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Design, Visual Communication or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a reputable advertising agency or creative studio.
  • Strong, integrated advertising portfolio showcasing conceptual, design and typography.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects or Premiere Pro advantageous.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, aesthetic sense and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent video editing and motion design skills highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • A self‑starter who takes initiative, delivers under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Passionate about creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Interest in AI tools.
