Placements24 invites a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join a leading dermatology clinic in Bloemfontein. You will diagnose and treat skin conditions, perform minor procedures, and educate patients about skin health and management.

Requirements include a DNP or equivalent, active NP license with Dermatology specialization, board certification, and a minimum of 3 years of dermatology experience.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP) or equivalent.
• Current, active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialization in Dermatology.
• Board certification in Dermatology NP practice.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in dermatology or related field.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of dermatological issues.
• Excellent clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
• Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, and lesion removal.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies.
• Educate patients and families about skin health, disease management, and prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with supervising dermatologists and healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
