Curro Holdings is seeking to appoint an innovative and forward-thinking deputy head at Curro Midrand Sagewood in Midrand. In support of the executive head, the deputy head is responsible for the management and achievement of school targets through the effective application of Curro policies and procedures. The deputy head also provides general assistance to the head of the school in all aspects of school management and must be able to take the lead and manage any of the executive head’s duties when the head of the school is unavailable or delegates any responsibilities. The role furthermore involves taking responsibility for specific portfolios assigned to the deputy head, for example, learner affairs, school discipline, extramural programmes or marketing.
