CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

To manage effective deployment of technology to all university end-users and offering predictable, dependable technical support.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Proven Leadership and Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to draft and manage comprehensive ICT projects in a complex environment.
  • Extensive experience in writing business proposals and reports.
  • Knowledge of megatrends in digital transformation and proven ability to undertake research in the application of technology
  • Demonstrable experience in resource management including Financial, management & Human Resources Management principles.
  • Proven ability to identify and act on trends in IT within the business environment.
  • Thorough understanding in the application of the ITIL and COBIT Frameworks;
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing of ICT services, contract and Service Level Management
  • Experience in conceptualization and delivery of integrated digital solutions
  • Experience in capacity building including designing and offering technical training
REQUIREMENTS
  • M + 4 Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems
  • Minimum 6 Years Technical Support Experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role in a technical environment.
