To manage effective deployment of technology to all university end-users and offering predictable, dependable technical support.
Key Performance Areas & Core Competencies
- Proven Leadership and Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Ability to draft and manage comprehensive ICT projects in a complex environment.
- Extensive experience in writing business proposals and reports.
- Knowledge of megatrends in digital transformation and proven ability to undertake research in the application of technology
- Demonstrable experience in resource management including Financial, management & Human Resources Management principles.
- Proven ability to identify and act on trends in IT within the business environment.
- Thorough understanding in the application of the ITIL and COBIT Frameworks;
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing of ICT services, contract and Service Level Management
- Experience in conceptualization and delivery of integrated digital solutions
- Experience in capacity building including designing and offering technical training
Requirements
- M+4 Degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems
- Minimum of 6 years technical support experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role in a technical environment.
