Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential
  • 5+ years experience in warehouse, depot, or bakery operations
  • Supervisory / management experience with a small team
  • Knowledge of FSSC standards and food safety procedures
  • Experience in stock control, dispatch, receiving, and purchase orders
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve operational challenges
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 3 staff, equipment, and vehicles
  • Open and close the factory, verifying staff timesheets
  • Oversee receiving of products, checking quantity, quality, and COAs
  • Coordinate dispatch operations, verify invoices vs stock, complete dispatch sheets
  • Issue spares for repairs, oversee machine building, and allocate serial numbers
  • Issue instructions for daily cleaning, blending processes, and verify batch tickets
  • Ensure all documentation (trip sheets, PODs, job cards, expense receipts) is accurately handed to admin daily
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders with Head Office
  • Maintain FSSC compliance and oversee procedures
  • Source potential new customers, schedule test baking / site visits, and submit weekly sales plans
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments and effective operational workflow
