Job summary

A dental design firm in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced CAD / CAM Designer to create full-arch restorations and implants. You will be responsible for analyzing scans, leading digital workflows, and collaborating with clinicians. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, HPCSA registration, and proficiency in both Afrikaans and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CAD / CAM dental design experience with a portfolio of implant and full-arch cases.
• Strong knowledge of restorative materials, aligners, retainers, and digital workflows.
• Own transport is required.

Responsibilities

• Design restorations including prosthetics, crowns, bridges, and veneers.
• Analyse intraoral scans, DICOM data, and clinical prescriptions.
• Lead digital workflows from planning to manufacture.
• Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Design restorations including full-arch prosthetics (FP1 / FP3), All-on-X, implant restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers using 3Shape, Exocad, or similar CAD / CAM software

Analyse intraoral scans, DICOM data, and clinical prescriptions

Lead full-arch digital workflows from virtual planning to manufacture

Collaborate with clinicians and internal teams

Manage digital case files and communication throughout workflows

Requirements

5+ years CAD / CAM dental design experience, with portfolio of implant and full-arch cases

HPCSA registration

Proficient in Afrikaans and English

Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, restorative materials, aligners, retainers, and digital workflows

Own transport
