Role Overview

Our client, a well-established dental practice, is seeking a highly organised, professional, and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, manage staff, and ensure adherence to clinical and administrative guidelines. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for maintaining operational excellence and supporting both the clinical and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational & Clinical Oversight
    • Oversee day-to-day activities of the practice to ensure efficient operations.
    • Implement and maintain clinical guidelines and administrative procedures.
    • Oversee assistants and the Maintenance Manager to ensure smooth workflow and patient experience.
  • Administrative Oversight
    • Manage all creditor-related administrative tasks.
    • Oversee debtor-related administration and reporting.
    • Ensure proper scheduling of leave and overtime in relevant systems.
    • Support the reception team with escalated administrative tasks as needed.
  • Human Resources & Team Management
    • Manage HR-related administration including contracts, performance reviews, warnings, and payroll processing for auditors.
    • Maintain HR documentation in systems such as Teamhub.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to all staff members to foster a professional and positive workplace culture.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial, HR, and operational data.
    • Maintain compliance with clinical, administrative, and regulatory standards.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience in practice management or a similar operational leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of HR processes.
  • Ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with practice management systems is highly advantageous.
