Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Previous dental laboratory experience is essential.
• 1 year practical experience in a dental laboratory preferred.
• Experience pouring and trimming dental models.
• Experience fabricating bite plates, retainers, removable appliances.
• Exposure to 3D printers or milling equipment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Good communication, organisational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Pouring and trimming dental models.
• Fabricating bite plates, retainers, and removable appliances.
• Assisting with digital laboratory workflows and operating laboratory equipment as required.
• Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and workstations.
• Keeping accurate laboratory records and maintaining an organised workspace.
• Assisting with general dental laboratory duties as required.
• Working closely with an experienced laboratory team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Following practice protocols and maintaining high standards of quality and infection control.
