Requirements :
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Registration with HPCSA as a Dental Assistant and proof of current registration. Able to perform routine dental assisting tasks. Computer literacy and knowledge of dental materials. Experience in dental assisting in an academic training environment will be an added advantage.
Duties :
- Provision of satisfactory client services and willingness to contact patients for appointments. Communicate information to patients. Maintenance of well-organised administrative duties and records. Dental assisting. Practice and maintain infection control standards. Ensure and maintain general clinical ward activities including reporting faulty equipment. Stock control and requesting stock replenishments as needed. Willingness to rotate in other departments. Active participation in student activities and training.
