A leading Supply Chain firm in Gauteng is searching for a skilled Demand Planner. The role requires maintaining optimal stock levels, managing international trade, and executing promotions. Candidates should have at least 2-5 years of experience in procurement within an FMCG QSR environment and hold a relevant diploma. Advanced Excel skills are a must. Competitive salary offered.

Job description

Our major Supply Chain client is searching for a skilled Demand Planner with exposure to some International Trade exposure , to keep stock levels at optimum levels in all locations across the country.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, APICS CSCP certification advantageous
  • 2 – 5 Years in Procurements within a FMCG QSR environment
  • International Trade exposure
  • Sound knowledge on shelf life and related fields
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • MS Office skills with advanced Excel
  • MS Great Plains and Barnton experience and will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities

Maintaining model stock levels across all locations, executing promotions, managing item masters, forecasting, planning, and uploading allocations and to manage suppliers. It stretches over several customers and national stock holding. Relationship management, reporting, and expediting on assured supply issues are of importance for the department.
