Our client is seeking an experienced Demand Planner with a strong background in international trade and supply chain management . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in imports and exports , trade compliance , and demand forecasting for global markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, commercial, and operational planning skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support procurement, production, and distribution planning.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product availability.
  • Monitor global trade trends and ensure compliance with imports and exports laws and regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end international trade processes, including customs documentation , Incoterms , and trade finance procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to international sourcing and transportation.
  • Analyze sales data, market intelligence, and customer trends to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to streamline global supply chain processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on demand planning performance and KPIs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 810 years experience in demand planning , international trade , and supply chain / logistics .
  • Strong knowledge of import / export regulations , Incoterms , and global trade compliance .
  • Proven experience in forecasting, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , ERP systems , and forecasting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics , International Trade , or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
