Key Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery van or light truck safely and efficiently on designated local routes.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and accuracy.
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS or provided route plans.
• Obtain signatures and payments upon delivery, maintaining accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies to the operations supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Code 08 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar customer-facing role.
• Good knowledge of the Port Elizabeth and surrounding areas' road network.
• Ability to lift and carry packages, sometimes weighing up to 25kg.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Reliable and punctual, with excellent time management abilities.
