DigicapeSA in Cape Town is seeking a reliable delivery driver to ensure stock and equipment reach customers on time across Cape Town and surrounding areas.

You will load, unload, and collect deliveries, maintain a clean driving record, and navigate efficiently. A valid licence and good time management are essential; prior delivery experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence to drive company vans.
• Clean driving record and a valid licence for company vehicles.
• Knowledge of Cape Town and surrounding areas is required.

• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.

What will the employee be required to do in this job?

1. Ensure that delivery schedules and delivery sheets are ready by 9am every morning
2. Previous day delivery sheets are sent to salespeople in the morning
3. Cape Town and surrounding areas are delivered everyday
4. Bellville, Durbanville & Stellenbosch are delivered Monday, Wed & Friday
5. Tokai and surrounding areas are delivered on Tuesday

Company vans gets washed and filled up on a Friday

What formal qualifications must the employee have for this job?

1. Valid drivers' licence to drive company vans.

What knowledge and skills should the employee have for this job?

• Clean driving record
• Good numeracy skills - able to count and perform simple calculations (e.g. add, subtract, multiply and divide) accurately and efficiently.
• Effective people relationship building skills
• Good verbal skills
• Ability to walk, drive and carry medium weight items for extended periods of time
• Good time management and organisation skills
