A leading engineering solutions provider is looking for a Deformation Monitoring / Business Development Manager in Centurion. This role involves promoting solutions to clients in industries like mining and providing tailored customer support. Ideal candidates should hold a relevant degree with experience in the Geotechnical field, especially in sales. A strong ability to communicate and understanding of technical requirements are essential. The position offers a salary of R80k.
An exciting career opportunity currently exists for a Deformation Monitoring / Business Development Manager within our client's offices, located in Centurion. The purpose of the role is to promote Deformation Monitoring solutions to new and existing customers within industries that the client serves, e.g. mines, dams, and other structures. To effectively liaise with the implementation team to ensure a seamless transition and resultant customer satisfaction. Be accountable for establishing and maintaining the OEM relationship(s).
Degree / diploma in Geotechnical fields or relevant surveying or engineering fields. Practical experience in the Geotechnical industry, specifically in mines will be a requirement. A proven record of business development (sales) experience / acumen will be an advantage.
Skills / Knowledge: Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & non-verbal). Understanding of industry / applications / solutions / customer requirements. Understanding of solutions implementation and service level support best practice. IT proficiency (Knowledge of CRM software & Microsoft Office).
Able to work independently. Conceptual ability to analyse, interpret & offer customised solutions. Attitude / Approach: Accountability / Integrity in sales, expense & delegation issues. Reliability regarding services offered / promised to customers. Physical demands: As required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Work environment: As required by performing the essential functions of the job. Valid unendorsed driver's license and own transport.
