Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Deceased Estate Attorney, located in Cape Town. The Deceased Estate Attorney will be responsible for managing and administering estates, providing legal advice on wills and trusts, conducting legal research, and representing clients in legal matters related to estates. Day‑to‑day tasks will include drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.

We are looking for a Junior Deceased Estate Administrator to join our Team in Blouberg, Cape Town.

Salary up to R20,000.00 CTC per month -
Depending on Experience

IMPORTANT

  • Need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Deceased Estate Environment.
  • Need to reside close to Blouberg or be willing to relocate to this side.

Attention to detail in this role is Critical

Drafting of letters to institutions and completing their required forms

  • Following up with various institutions
  • Following up with the Master of the High Court
  • Ensure documents comply with FICA requirements.
  • Prepare and send Adverts as per instructions
  • Deal with simplistic Estates from start to finish with supervision from the Senior Administrator
  • Drafting of Simplistic Wills
  • Comply with the necessary programs (Master's Office portal, LegalEase, Microsoft etc)
  • Invoicing
  • Archiving of Files
  • Scanning of all documents
  • Witnessing of Documents
  • Assist with Trust Registrations and Amendments
  • General Assistant to the Directors.
