We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Debtors / Payroll administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for weekly and monthly invoicing processing accurately, maintaining financial records, and supporting general accounting functions to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations

Responsibilities
  • Strong debtors experience including invoicing
  • Follow up on late payments
  • Process and administer payroll for employees accurately and on time
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with accounts receivable functions
  • Maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers
  • Support month-end accounting processes
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed
Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate; a diploma or degree in Accounting / Finance is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in debtors and payroll administration
  • Knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Evolution, Payspace and Xero system) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel intermediate
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
  • Able to work under pressure
