A staffing agency in Pretoria is looking for a finance administrator to handle invoicing, payments, and debtors/creditors management. The ideal candidate should have experience in finance, attention to detail, and computer literacy, especially in Pastel and Microsoft Office. This role involves multitasking and delivering results under tight deadlines.
The invoicing of services to clients and the collection and administration of the payments.
General Ledger: Daily processing of Cashbook entries from Bank statement, bank reconciliation, following up on recon items, processing of debtor and creditor related journals in Pastel, updating of the monthly Debit Order Schedule. Debtors: Daily follow up on Outstanding Debtors and updating the Daily Debtors schedule, monthly invoicing of all Debtors (contract and sundry), reconciling monthly statements of all Debtors, completing monthly invoice registers and reconciling to Trial Balance entries, assisting in updating of client contract register (new contracts, escalations, changes and terminations), completing general administrative tasks relating to debtors, reporting feedback on a daily basis to the Financial Manager regarding debtors, monthly customer journals. Creditors: Capture of creditors on Pastel, ensuring invoices received are valid tax invoices to SARS requirements, ensuring expense invoices are authorised and matched to the purchase order, reconciling monthly statements of Creditors to the Supplier Ledger in Pastel, preparing creditors for capturing payments on the bank, general tasks relating to creditors, collecting and administrating BBBEE certificates of suppliers on an on‑going basis, monthly supplier journals.
English Language: Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.

Time Management: The ability to function under deadlines on a timely basis.
Grade: Years' experience in similar or same working/position environment. Finance Degree/Diploma: An advantage. Security industry experience and/or knowledge: An advantage. Well‑developed operational and administrative skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Organizational ability/planning capabilities. Good verbal and written communication capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Computer literate. Good people skills. Valid Driver's License. Medically fit. Computer Literacy: Pastel Partner Version 19, Microsoft Office (Good Excel and Outlook capabilities), Windows knowledge.
