Our client is looking for a Debriefing Clerk to join their team at the Blackheath branch. This is a salaried position offering an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented and organized individual with relevant experience in a warehouse environment. The Debriefing Clerk will be responsible for ensuring all vehicle debriefing activities are carried out accurately and in line with company procedures. The role also includes stock counts, rotation control, handling of claims, and general housekeeping to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Minimum Requirements: Education – Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Experience – 3–4 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA 85) and handling of Dangerous Goods is advantageous.
  • Debriefing & Administration: Reconcile purchase orders, collect supporting documentation, verify re‑deliveries against trip sheets and proof of deliveries, verify each purchase order for date, full name and signature of the Receiving Clerk, maintain accurate records, resolve any driver or delivery issues that arise during the shift, manage dispatch‑related matters promptly and efficiently, operate within company controls and procedures to ensure data and operational integrity, report any risks or areas of concern to management, promote compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Customer Service: Support internal and external customers while maintaining effective working relationships, identify and resolve operational issues in line with company values, contribute to a culture of customer focus and service excellence.
  • People Management: Coordinate and support relevant team members to ensure efficient operations, cost control and adherence to safety standards.
