Introduction

Our client n the Apparel Retail Sector is seeking a DC Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations during the afternoon shift, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining stock integrity and operational excellence.Afternoon shift for the rest of

Duties & Responsibilities

Stock Control & Operational Management

  • Manage inbound and outbound stock and assets, ensuring accurate and efficient throughput throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitor daily operations, report issues, and implement problem-solving measures.
  • Ensure all warehouse processes and procedures are followed.
  • Plan and prepare for annual and cycle stock counts as required.
  • Manage replenishment orders and forecast consumables.
  • Oversee departmental budgets and inventory control.Admin & HR Management
  • Lead, organize, and manage warehouse staff in their daily operations.
  • Maintain a fair and consistent HR approach, reporting issues and implementing disciplinary measures as required.
  • Support the Logistics management team with operational tasks as needed.
  • Provide staff training for all warehouse positions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Maintain workplace organization and housekeeping standards.Health & Safety
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Report non-conforming equipment immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Grade 12 (essential)
  • Tertiary qualification relevant to the role
