Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design SOPs according to the agreed and documented format, principles and processes (e.g., BOP, SOPs, Supplier Delivery Conformance). Create new SOPs as we roll out new projects/initiatives in Logistics.
  • Audit compliance processes in DCs at least twice a year.
  • Review all SOPs and investigate opportunities for improvement in collaboration with Engineering, SCO Training Team and WMOS Logistics team.
  • Investigate and implement digitisation of SOPs; ensure SOP curriculum is updated and published twice a year; establish a version control process for SOPs.
  • Ensure Best Operating Practice Principles are standardised and active in all DCs as part of the culture in Logistics.
  • Assist DCs to meet required standards and audit these principles at least twice a year.
  • Establish a BOP Steering committee and lead meetings quarterly or more frequently if required.
  • Drive the improvement of Supplier Delivery Conformance in DCs; report on delivery conformance achieved per DC weekly and monthly.
  • Manage non-conformance queries from DCs and suppliers weekly; arrange engagement sessions with non-conforming suppliers quarterly or as needed.
  • Conduct Supplier Portal audits to ensure supporting evidence has been saved by DCs for POs with non-conformance; update Logistics Information on the Supplier Delivery Conformance Website.
  • Update Delivery Conformance Manuals; drive and report on recovery of outstanding delivery conformance charges from suppliers (local and import).
  • Assist with systems processes during design sessions of new DCs, new processes and group initiatives.
  • Support the Training Team with Super‑User, User Acceptance Testing, End‑User Training and implementation for all new initiatives when required.
  • Travel as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A post‑matric qualification in Logistics Management / Supply Chain Management / Retail Business Management.
  • At least 5 years of solid process management experience.
  • At least 3 years of solid people management experience with ER knowledge.
  • At least one year of project management experience.
  • Experience working on a Warehouse Management System (Manhattan WMS experience advantageous).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with strong Excel capability.
  • Must be able to work in Tableau, Power BI or any other analytics tool.
  • Business acumen and experience in analysing and interpreting delivery conformance data.
