Unknown company is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic for a day-shift role in Belgium. You will service a diverse fleet of heavy commercial vehicles, diagnose faults, and perform high-quality repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.

The position offers stable hours, movement between diagnostics and hands-on work, and opportunities for continuous improvement within a workshop team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' hands-on experience maintaining heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Reading and interpreting technical manuals and repair documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and servicing on commercial trucks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across various truck brands.
• Carry out repairs according to manufacturer specifications and legal requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to maximise vehicle reliability and minimise downtime.
• Inspect, service, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform brake system inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Repair and replace truck curtains and tarpaulins where required.
• Read and interpret manuals and repair documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop.
