Job summary

MRI Software is seeking a Data Steward to lead the data program with emphasis on governance, quality, and compliance. You will act as the expert on MRI’s data assets, educating teams and guiding data capabilities alignment with regulatory standards.

The role sits within a start-up project in a larger organization, offering hybrid work with 3 days from home per week and collaboration across product, engineering, and legal groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data operations roles, ideally in a technology organization.
• Ability to clearly define data scope, requirements, and steward data from complex environments.
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and data usage governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and source high-value data.
• Develop value-added use cases and actionable specifications.
• Ensure data meets governance criteria for accuracy, lineage, and use.
• Maintain documentation and compliance evidence for audits.
